Mission of the Mountainburg School District

The mission of the Mountainburg School District is to provide a safe and secure learning environment that enables all students to attain their full potential. The District will strive to provide the leadership and services necessary for a well developed educational program that promotes higher order thinking skills in literacy, math, and technology with the teaching and resources necessary to allow the students to compete successfully in the twenty-first century.

Mountainburg Little League Basketball has wrapped up for 2010. Thanks to Will Marion, Mountainburg Little League Basketball Director, for another well-organized season!!

The 4th and 5th Grade Lady Dragons finished 2nd place in their age divisions for the season. Way to go girls!!
And thanks to the many VOLUNTEERS who gave up lots of time for practices and games on Saturdays for our kids!!!

Every now and then, we need to put some friendly reminders here on the website for our parents and students...

  1. Please get all cafeteria charges paid as soon as possible. This is money that is used by our Food Services Department and it is necessary that these charges get paid. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Corette at 479-369-4224.
  2. Mrs. Christian, the Dragon Yearbook Adviser, sent home statements for yearbooks. Please be sending payments in soon. The yearbooks should arrive the first part of May. Extra yearbooks will be available to purchase after all paid in full orders have been covered. Cost for a yearbook after the books arrive will be $40.00. You may pre-pay to reserve a copy.
  3. Seniors - Graduation will be here before you know it!!! Make sure you have all unpaid fees covered, lost books paid for, uniforms returned, etc.

School Messenger will also be utilized to send out a message to all households. If a message did not come to the number you requested, please contact the appropriate principal's office.
